Our MISSION
is to obtain food and distribute it to people in need through area nonprofits and to provide resources for education and advocacy to end hunger.
Second Harvest Food Bank works to eliminate food insecurity by providing nutritious food to those in need, dismantling access barriers, and advocating for health and racial equity.
HOW DOES Food Banking WORK?
We primarily operate as a food distribution center for our robust network of 200+ agency partners.
Second Harvest Food Bank is a program of Community Action Lehigh Valley, an anti-poverty nonprofit serving the Lehigh Valley region since 1965.
