Second Harvest Food Bank volunteers contribute to our mission in many valuable ways.
Volunteer opportunities include: packaging boxes of food for seniors and children, sorting food donations, leading nutrition education classes, helping out in our offices, lending a hand at events, and more!
We have opportunities for everyone – individuals, families, community organizations and corporate groups. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer in our warehouse (ages 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult). Most volunteer opportunities are 2-3 hours in length and do not require a regular commitment.
