For the past six years, Lehigh Valley Alumni Clubs have competed against each other, in good spirit, to raise food and funds for Second Harvest. We are delighted to announce that this year’s winning team was Penn State, with a total of 11,988 pounds of food. The Notre Dame and Purdue Clubs were a close second and third.
The Alumni Club Challenge is a fun way to raise food, funds, and awareness at a time of year when many people might not be thinking about charitable giving. During its six-year tenure, the Alumni Club Challenge has raised the equivalent of 94,029 meals for those in need in the Lehigh Valley.
Congrats, again, Penn State!
