Empty Bowls – October 20, 2018

Mark your calendars – we will be hosting our annual Empty Bowls event on October 20th from 6 – 9 PM.  We would love if you could join us for this special event held right here, in our food bank warehouse. The night will include fantastic live music, a delicious dinner, a variety of options from the bar, and a very unique silent auction. The meal, a simple yet delicious dinner, is meant to be a modest feast prepared using ingredients similar to that which a client might receive at an emergency food pantry or soup kitchen. Food Truck Food Drive – Saturday, April 21st

WFMZ and Dorney Park will host the second annual Food Truck Food Drive on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the Dorney parking lot. Stop by to enjoy the variety of offerings from the best food trucks in the region.  The food truck festival is free with a donation of food or funds to Second Harvest. Can Jam for Hunger! September 21 & 22

In honor of Hunger Action Month, The Goldenberg Group, Cat Country 96 and 100.7 WLEV are partnering to host the inaugural Can Jam for Hunger! at Hamilton Crossings Shopping Center in Lower Macungie Township on Friday, September 21st and Saturday, September  22nd to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank! Alumni Club Food Drive Challenge

CANstruction is Back for Year Three!

The Great Allentown Fair ‘Buck and a Can’ Night

World Series of Bicycling!

Second Harvest was honored to be included in the Valley Preferred Cycling Center’s  Series of Bicycling event on Friday, July 28th. Patrons were admitted to the velodrome for free with the donation of a non-perishable food item for Second Harvest. Our team had a blast talking with guests about what Second Harvest does in our community. It was a nice night to watch the races, too!
